My Work

Intentions: The first 2 works, ‘Out of Focus’ and “We too were once Gods”, are the pieces I made for this assignment that directly hit at the intentions of the assignment. I made more pieces in order to play with the theme ‘Steal’ and with the question of ‘What is Art?’. There’s been much discussion of these topics in class - how some artists borrowed ideas and images from other artists and recontectualized them to create new works. I wanted to play with this idea myself.

Other notes: We had very few magazines and no newspapers around the house, so I pulled images off the internet and made my works digitally.
