Outdoor Works

These are some of Todd’s outdoor sculptures, constructed elements, and assemblages of note.

Much of the wood was charred in a process known as Yaki Sugi Ban. It was thoroughly burnt to the point where the surface cracked and formed deep crevasses. Some of the wood was then brushed to remove the char from the soft portion of the grain leaving a beautiful highly contrasted wood grain.
